big brother 3 usa:
Summer, 2002 has reared her humid head. Can't you feel the heat? Fear not, as July 10th marks the return of Big Brother USA, and we're sure your television will be smoking. Maybe, while waiting for a preview for next week's Judging Amy you saw the CBS Big Brother 3 commercial - "12 New Houseguests! 3 Months! Nowhere to Go! Camera's Watch Everything! New Games! New Strategies! New Surprises!" Sure, they're still in Television City, and we doubt Monica is back with her boots. RealPlayer will again host the live feeds in the house for viewer access.

Twelve Americans will become our house pets, letting us watch their every word, whisper, whine, and unwashed hand they have to offer. But the rules may change again. CBS promises new challenges, and new surprises. Only the premier of Big Brother 3 will show us what they have in store, but we're betting this season will put Big Brother 2 to shame. The houseguests will out-will Will, and someone is sure to take Krista's advice on the merits of Ny-Quill. Someone may even have more back hair than Bunky.

Will CBS bring back the interactive side? Global editions of Big Brother now allow voting via remote control and through the internet. Maybe they'll bring back Beth, the bitchy girl who never got to meet Jamie Kern, as no one took the money on the first Big Brother? Maybe votes will be phoned in by the public this season, once again letting us decide who stays and who goes? Maybe, just maybe, they'll really screw with the rules and invite that AOL twit back?

Either way, when July 10th rolls around, be ready for a new season of Big Brother. Some rules may stay and remain the same; however, at any moment we could learn a new twist that throws the show for yet another loop.

Fear not, Big Brother 3 is pretty much here...with host, Julie Chen.
